The interior renovation to a 5-storey, 41 year old academic building involving substantial gutting of interior architectural elements, and removal of mechanical and electrical systems. Partition layouts will be reconfigured and interior finishes will be replaced throughout. One elevator will be replaced, the other overhauled. Existing washrooms will be replaced with new facilities. New HVAC and lighting, as well as fire alarm and sprinklers will be provided. The project also includes a single-storey podium rooftop addition to house student services, staff offices, cafeteria, lounges, and a multi-purpose assembly hall.
