Summary
The new Yarrow Elementary Scool will have the capacity for 200 kindergarten and 275 grade 1-7 students in addition to Neighbourhood of Learning components. Sustainable design features will include an open loop geoexchange system, durable, thermally efficient building envelope comprised of tilt-up concrete construction with the predominant use of BC wood. Low emitting recycled and regional materials will be used wherever feasible.
